Buck Wild Fridays
Its May long weekend. And it is set to be a an absolute rager of a Friday. As a matter of fact as soon as I finish posting this I will be jumping into my car to purchase a dangerous amount of Olde English. But enough about me, its about the music, and we got a whole lot of good stuff for you this Friday. Bloc Party. - Truth (Digitalism Remix)
German electro duo Digitalism have done some pretty spectacular remixes for some huge groups, such as Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, White Stripes, and Cut Copy. Now you can add Bloc Party. to the list as they revamp Truth to be a house hit. Could be a good track for the weekend no? Anyways, Enjoy. Luke.
Wu-Tang Clan - Execution In Autumn (Unreleased)
Previously unreleased, from the “personal vaults of the RZA”, we get “Execution In Autumn”. I’m not going to say much about the song because it speaks for itself. Just knowing that it comes from the Wu-Tang Clan should be enough, take a peak down below.
Depeche Mode - Goodbye (Gesaffelstein Remix)
To myself, it would seem difficult to make a dark song even darker and deeper but it seems as though the French kid from Paris has found a way to do just that. Known for his more darkened productions and sets, Gesaffelstein has given us a black masterpiece. Slow and eery, this four minute tune gives us the chills in just the right amounts. Take a listen to hear how the frenchman has added his own twisted talent.

Sam Smith - Latch (Acoustic Live)
The vocal talent in Discloure’s major hit Latch is shedding a different light on the very track. Instead of the banging track being riddled with bass and all that jazz, Sam Smith has stripped it down to the bare basics. Nothing but a great voice and a couple instruments. Mayer Hawthorne - Her Favorite Song
Nothing like a little soul and funk in the mid-day to give you a little extra boost. Mayer Hawthorne is back once again with, “Her Favorite Song” which is accompanied from the the UK voice of songstress, Jessie Ware. This is the first single off of the upcoming album, “Where Does This Door Go” out on June 16th. The combination of funky instrumentals and soulful voices of the two singers is a great way to take your midweek getaway and just forget about it all. Take a peek at this sultry tune down below.

Usually whenever someone releases a new trap song, remix or version, there is a high chance that the producer tried to make it as “filthy” as possible. However, BƐ∆Я- Ʀ∆₱ has decided to take the more mellow route creating quite an exquisite track without any “dirty drops”. Keeping his instrumentals clean and staying away from the minimalistic trap that has been following the genre, BƐ∆Я- Ʀ∆₱ has given us something even those who do not enjoy trap can appreciate. Cop this bad boy down below and enjoy a new flow with them 808’s.
Disclosure - You & Me ft. Eliza Doolittle (Baauer Remix)
Normally I am quite against Disclosure remixes but this…. THIS monster of a track released by Baauer a mere 2 hours ago has completely blown me away. Take the already upbeat recent Disclosure single and let Baauer layer some massive trap bass over top and you have one hell of a banger. Enough reading, listen to it.
Jacob Banks - Worthy (Melé Remix)
Usually the friday playlist is for these type of tunes but this one is too good not to be posted immediately. Melé takes the duty of remixing, “Worthy” and his tribal tune-ups are incredible to say the least. Keeping Jacob Banks’s vocals throughout the song was a great move, I mean, the guys voice alone is a masterpiece. As addictive as his voice, the drop is something that will catch you off guard but that is exactly what makes the song good, is its unexpectedness. Throw this kid on to get your early weekend fix and get your tribe on.
